In Windows it is possible to just push the middle key down and then scroll in any direction. This doesn't seem to be the case in Linux. I guess it's some kind of editing in the xorg config. When I press the middle button in an open area in firefox, firefox tries to go to a website with what's on my clipboard as the url. Very annoying.
